Opportunities for All

The Governing Body is committed to providing equality of opportunity to all in all aspects of school life.
Access to the school
    All areas of the school on the ground floor are accessible to all children.
    There are disabled parking spaces for parents/children with disabilities.
    There is a medical room available for children with medical needs.
    All reasonable adaptations will be made to the physical environment to enable all children’s needs to be met.

Access to learning
We are committed to ensuring that the individual learning needs of pupils are met.
Every effort is made to adapt the curriculum, resources, teaching and learning to match individual needs.  This includes catering for those children with Special Educational Needs and those who are gifted, able or talented.
Being part of a positive community
Tolerance, respect and understanding of others are promoted throughout the school and every effort is made to provide social inclusion for all.

The Local Authority [LA] procedures  for reporting racist incidents are followed.

We have an anti-bullying policy that actively involves children in the school.  Pupils are encouraged to tell an adult if someone does something to them that hurts them in any way and to keep telling until they are happy that the problem has been resolved.
