General Information and Communications

We send out regular newsletters (approximately every three to four weeks), giving information about school events, holiday dates etc. You may have to search your child’s bag for them! If yours get lost or misplaced, spare copies are kept in the school office and there is always one on display on the News Board outside the entrance and on the school website.

We also contact parents/carers via letters, telephone calls, text messages and email.

You can get newsletters and updates on school activities on our web-site:

If we have your email on record, newsletters and other necessary information will be emailed to you directly.

We invite you to special assemblies involving your child, especially when there are things to celebrate.
We send home Curriculum letters and homework information at the beginning of each half  term, explaining what your child will be learning and how you can help and support them.
We invite you into school to discuss your child’s progress at parents meetings twice a year and provide you with regular reports and termly targets that your child is working on.  There are also New to the Year Group meetings at the end of the school year and information evenings about the curriculum during the year.
We are happy for you to arrange further meetings with staff, either face to face or by telephone, if you have any queries or problems and we will contact you if we have any issues of concern.

Please keep us up to date with addresses, telephone numbers and emergency contacts.

Please try to attend parents meetings.
We hope you will always ring us and/or send a note to explain an absence.

E-mail us if you like at:    or

We hope you will tell us if there is a problem which could affect your child’s progress or behaviour in school. Any personal matters will be treated in the strictest confidence. The class teacher, Mr Devey, [our Education Support Worker], the headteacher, deputy heads and Key Stage Leaders will always find time to listen.
